ECE Resources for Kids

Play should always be considered as an essential part of a child’s early education. Functional play helps children to develop motor and practice skills. This kind of play is normally done with toys or objects that are stackable, can be filled with water or sand or playing outdoors. Water play and sand play are favourite among preschool children and a valuable teaching tool. This type of play can make up about 50% of the type of play toddlers to three years old children practice. Constructive play is characterized by building or creating something. Toys that encourage this type of play are simple puzzles, building blocks, easy craft activities and puppets. These are  termed as Ece resources. Normally four to five years old children enjoy this type of play, but it continues to be enjoyable into the first and second grades of school. Hands and fingers are the best first art tools. Soon they will mange with paint brushes, wedges of sponge, wax, crayons, and hunky chalks. It is advised to avoid rushing a child into making something in particular. Letting them do what they want encourages individuality and decision making. Toddlers also enjoy dough because they can get hands and fingers in to it for poking, rolling and shaping. This type of play develops thinking and reasoning skills, problem solving and creativity. Investing in  high quality ECE resources has significant benefits for young children and their future learning ability. Some studies have found that engagement in their early years of learning  develop strong foundations for future learning success .These effects apply to all children but may be particularly important for building academic achievement in children from poorer communities and socio-economic backgrounds .

ECE resources has been shown to positively impact literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills well into the teenage years, while other studies have shown that high quality ECE resources encourages the development of cognitive and attitudinal competencies, and leads to higher levels of achievement and better social outcomes.

International and longitudinal studies have also found that participation in high quality ECE resources can translate into improved longer-term outcomes. Several studies have identified links between participation in ECE and better social and economic outcomes for children when they reach older ages . Imagine you're a  Ece teacher at an Ece centre. The centre has outdated and minimal resources. You feel the young kids  in your classroom are being deprived of essential resources that will help them get the best education possible. You discuss this with the  management , and to your surprise, you are given a budget and the task of selecting new resources for your ece centre. It is up to you to research and purchase the best materials, resources, and technologies that will meet the needs of all kids - including those with exceptionalities.Popular ECE resources include books, art supplies, puzzles, games, technological devices, etc. As you begin your quest for updated resources for the elementary school, you feel overwhelmed and bombarded with options. Now days many Ece resources are coming in wood material which are safe and non toxic for young kids. These wooden Ece resources are durable also for long term rough handling. So selecting the right ece resources for the particular age group is very important in the early years of their learning.
